Adam and Steve
>> Sunday, May 10, 2009
After getting together for a calamitous one-night stand in the 1980s, single homosexuals Adam (Craig Chester) and Steve (Malcolm Gets) don't see each other again until they cross paths 17 years later. In an unbelievable twist, it takes a year of dating for Adam and Steve to realize they'd already met, which complicates their romance even further. Parker Posey, Chris Kattan and Sally Kirkland provide first-rate support in this snappy comedy.
"Very funny gay movie, I fell down and laughed to tears, highly recommended!

Lilies
1952: Bishop Bilodeau visits a québécois prison to hear the confession of a boyhood friend jailed for murder 40 years ago. The inmates force the prelate to watch a play depicting what really happened in 1912. We meet him as a young man, strait-laced, intent on convincing Simon (now the convict) to join the seminary with him. Vallier, the son of an impoverished and eccentric countess, loves Simon and he is drawn to Vallier, but in fear of his father's wrath for kissing Vallier during drama rehearsal, Simon courts a visiting Parisian, asking her to marry him. Vallier, encouraged by his mother, attends the engagement party to declare his love for Simon. And what does the watchful Bilodeau do?
Brilliant film, very unconventional and yet the most successful, fantastic, very unique film, a must see film for any movie lover! An absolutely beautiful film, the cinematography is exquisite and the art direction divine. The acting is top notch and Brent Carver is totally believable as a woman. An infinite tragic film, but a must see. "Love is infinite and knows no boundaries"
